Flynn Blackwell

By Goof Person
Flynn was an orphan, abandoned as a boy no older than 2 on the steps of a monastery surrounded by vineyards and farm, all that he was left with was tattered remains of fine clothes and a sword of princely craftsmanship. The monks took the boy in and raised him to respect their values and beliefs, they were spiritualists and believed in achieving enlightenment through superior morality, they taught Flynn to be just, fair, kind and patient, but to also to uphold a sturdy code of conduct, exacting judgement and justice on the guilty and fighting evil however they can. Ultimately this leads to Flynn growing up with the belief that the best way he can uphold these teachings is to become a knight, a servant of the people fighting evil and villainy wherever he can, and when he reached the age of 10 he was given the sword the monks found with him, a paladin from the church in the next city over offered to teach Flynn the way of the sword and under the holy knight Flynn trained to become a master swordsman, but even now he has yet to become a true master. At the age of 18 Flynn left the monastery in search of himself, travelling the lands and fighting minor battles, at one point even joining a town guard contingent to defeat a band of highwaymen, he's now 29 and ready to take on greater adventures.
