The Lightwardens

The Lightwardens are devoted followers of Lumara, the deity of navigation and truth, serving as guardians and guides within Lantern's Hollow.
This faction includes clerics, paladins, and dedicated laypeople united by a mission to protect, guide, and illuminate the way for travelers and townsfolk alike. They oversee community welfare, spiritual guidance, and defense against evil. Their leadership ensures the order’s commitment to Lumara’s teachings remains steadfast.
In Lantern's Hollow, they are revered for their kindness and commitment to safety. The Lightwardens provide blessings for adventurers, heal the wounded, and share wisdom on mystical matters. They are a source of comfort and hope, embodying Lumara's protective grace.
The Lightwardens organize patrols, maintain the town's protective wards, and provide sanctuary to those in need. They also hold a nightly ritual called "The Vigil," where they light lanterns around the town as symbols of Lumara’s watchfulness and protection.
The Lightwardens are led by a council, known as The Beacon, with each seasoned member bringing their unique expertise and perspective to the table. The paladin Sir Alaric Dawnbringer leads The Beacon.
The Beacon also plays a pivotal role in coordinating with the town's leadership, ensuring that the spiritual needs of the community are met and that Lumara's teachings are integrated into daily life.

Bran the Navigator: A former adventurer turned cleric, Bran provides insight into the geography of Atherion and guides those seeking to navigate its dangers. Responsibilities:
Rituals and Ceremonies - 
The Beacon oversees various rituals and ceremonies to honor Lumara and seek her guidance. These include the Lighting of the Way, a ceremony performed at the beginning of significant journeys or endeavors, and the Festival of Stars, an annual celebration that honors Lumara's guidance through the darkness.
