Humans are inhabitants of Athea, the central dimension within the universe. Humans are equally formed of all ten elements and have evolved advanced intelligence, individuality and extreme amounts of creativity. Physically, humans are nothing special with few physical defenses and even fewer magical ones. Humans are the most ambitious species which, combined with their creativity, leads to far more innovation and technological discovery than other species.Many have theorized that this is due to their subpar natural abilities pushing them to compete with other races across the multiverse.
Magically speaking, their equal attunement to all dimensions hampers their strength in any one. Because of this, they show very little ability with flowsurging. Their strength averages at 1.0 but this very quickly falls off to about half of this value. Humans are also the only species which can contain magically inert individuals. This is because when attunement is to evenly distributed, individuals with lower strength have exponentially less ability to touch any single flow. This general weakness in the form of magic has driven them to develop many ways to utilize it that minimize the costs allowing them to use far more. Just like their technological inventions, these spread throughout the multiverse to other species as well.
