Bayguard

Bayguard is an island kingdom in the Spiral Sea off the southwest coast of the continent. It was originally settled by travelers from Casca, but the island government successfully renounced their ties to the mainland kingdom after a series of small skirmishes and a negotiated treaty. Now, they are the principal naval power in Atelier, with various sea treaties across the mainland continents and a military alliance with Saccara, the only other non-continental kingdom.
