Andula

The Andula are a race of bipedal, plant-like creatures that closely resemble elves and dryads of myth. They possess no eyes, but a multitude of vine-like protrusions over their flowering heads and extremities as means of obtaining tactile information. When threatened, they are capable of producing a sticky sap from the leaves of their bodies capable of trapping any foes that would make the mistake of tangling with them. They are carnivorous and feed mostly off small mammals or insects that are trapped by their vines or in their emitted sap. While they are highly capable of locomotion, most members of their species tend to live their lives in 'root' in a preferred growing area. Their young tend to take on characteristics of the native plants of the planets in which they reside in.
