Head Phone

This glass jar contains the perseved head of a small monkey floating in a thick viscous liquid. It was created by Lethe Argie as a way to facilitate long-distance communication.

Properties

This glass jar contains the preserved head of a small monkey floating in a thick viscous green liquid. Once per day a creature attuned to this item may begin a one-minute ritual to animate the monkey's head, targeting a creature with whom they are familiar and on the same plane of existence as. Upon completion of the ritual, the attuned creature may freely communicate with the target for up to ten minutes.
The target hears the attuned creature's voice in their mind and is able to respond freely. Their responses are spoken by the monkey's head in their voice. After ten minutes of such communication the ritual ends and cannot be performed again until the next day.
