King Vogan (Vo-gan)
King Vogan Bertram Montague
Earlier life
Vogan was the oldest son of Bertram and the rightful heir to the throne. Growing up, he followed in his father's footsteps into becoming a knight. Although less cold and cruel, Vogan seemed to be where he belonged. He never spoke up against his father's ways and seemingly lived his priviliged life with elven servants without any complaints. No one expected the young prince to stray from his path and murder the king to end the oppression that had only just started.
Once in the eyes of the folk, a spoiled and vile human and now a hero to many. Vogan married an elven woman and broke through the stereotype where humankind and elves were enemies. They gave birth to a beautiful young daughter, but seemingly posessed with dark magic-- to some a sign by the gods disapproving of this marriage-- they had to kill her. Both decided not to have any children for a while, and focus on ruling instead
