Terauri

The geography of Terauri includes the description of all the physical geographical elements of Terauri. Terauri, whose territory largely coincides with the greater geographical region of Adlak, is located in southern Adlak and comprises the long, boot-shaped Teraurian Peninsula crossed by the Aureumines, the southern side of Aure, the large plain of the Po Valley and some islands including Bumora and Sarcelle. Terauri is part of the Northern Hemisphere. Two of the Pelagie Islands (Cadena Vana and Jardin) are located on the Kulalan continent.

Fauna & Flora

The region was home to sparse vegetation and animals outside of oasis and floodplains, with scattered concentrations of grasses, shrubs, and trees near the highlands and on top of hills and the sides of mountains, near oasis, riverbanks, and along the wadis. Various halophytes are found in saline depressions. Some heat- and drought-tolerant grasses, herbs, small shrubs, and trees are found on the less well-watered plains and plateaus of the Themmit Desert.   Relict tropical fauna of the northern region that borders the Highlands include tropical catfish and poecilias found in isolated oases. Cobras and pygmy crocodiles may still exist in remote drainage basins of the Golden Mountains.   Tropical Yeti were a distinct threat to those inhabiting the Themmit Jungles, but are now considered extinct if they ever existed in the first place.
