Childhood
Born to a one Apollonius Liviana (a banker) and Bernice Rullus (a clan of merchants), Basilinna had a life next to the lap of luxury. Her family had numerous servants, and on her mothers side even a handful of bugbear slaves that did most of the heavy tasks during these early years.Teenage-Years
Basilinna had many friends by her teenage-years, and was often the center of attention at any ball or gathering that was to be had. It was at this time that she caught the eye of a young apprentice to her father. This apprentice, a young Verde Bene would come to be her husband in just 10 short years, elevating her to an ever higher state of class, one that she would shine in rather brightly.Adult Life
Basilinna loved her adult love, as much of it was spent at social gatherings with powerful influencers of the city. It was early on at one of these gatherings that Basilinna was offered a seat on the Patricians council that made up the large ruling body of Carcino. She accepted of course, and would go on for years gathering favors and friends as easily as one drinks water. It was during her adult life that Basilinna and Verde tried for years to have children, but eventually found out that Basilinna would never be able to have children of her own. This sent her into a brief depression where she first was introduced to ideas of the occult, after spending many drug induced sleepless nights with learned friends.Tragedy
Up until this point, Basilinna had lost both her mother and her father to age and illness respectively, but had come to love her husband and the prospect of a family after an early retirement. For by this point, her husband had became the soul legitimate leader of the largest banking clan in the city, allowing them to live the most comfortable of lives. This however, would not be the case, as just two years before her husbands planned retirement from banking and the senate, Verde Bene, and his brother Julius Bene was assassinated in the Hierophant Manor Hosue by an unknown group, believed to be the same who would go on to murder the Mercantile King. With her husbands and brother-in-laws deaths, the seat of the most powerful banking clan fell right on her plate, easy for the taking.Undeath and Rebirth
Fraught with sorrow and grief at the loss of her dear husband, Basilinna would turn go down a dark and downward spiral of depression and drugs. It was known to servants that the lady was taking cocaine and staying up for days at a time. It was around this time, that she began to dabble in the occult, buying strange books and artifacts. During one drug heavy and sleepless night, she performed a ritual, but it failed somehow, perhaps a lapse of judgement or a chant misspoken, none will know. But on that night, 1.6 million Carcinians lost their lives, and rose the next night as ghastly undead monsters, under the Lady's command.After Life
In her long life after the ritual, Basilinna has adopted a small gaggle of misfits and outcasts like her. Various creatures of the night and day who just wish to live peaceful lives. This isn't to say she hasn't given up the clan or her seat on the senate though, on the contrary, since the events of her husbands death, she has only grown in power and wealthSocial
