Bosmer Species in Asyur | World Anvil

Bosmer

Wood elves, also known as copper elves, or the bosmer, are the most populous of the elven races. Wood elves see themselves as guardians of the Cormanthyr forest homes that were lost during the Great Schism and the Green Scourge. Bosmer elves are known cannibals, however in their culture it isn't disrespect. Instead, the Bosmer believe that all flesh and body of a foe killed in battle, be it that of a beast or that of a fellow Bosmer, should not go to waste. The flesh would be either consumed by the victorious Bosmer, or used as bait or feed for livestock, bones would be turned into armor, weapons, or decorations - usually fashioned into animal motifs, while organs and other special body parts may be ground up and used in alchemical concoctions.
