The Miletus family has been well respected for the past century, though, to listen to their chroniclers, their history predates the Strato dynasty. Kuveria and her immediate predecessors have been trading on that ancient history and have risen through the ranks of the imperial beuracracy. Kuveria has achieved the highly coveted position of Chancellor, which means she has a seat on the Imperial Council, and she is the head of the Senate. She has proven herself to be a capable administrator, managing the affaird of the imperial core as well as pushing through several important reforms pertaining to managing currency and military spending. While respedted for these accomplishments in government circles, she craves wider recognition that Ataveria has received for her military campaigning. In addition, there are rumors that Kuveria has her eyes on the throne, though these are unsubstantiated, and she has repeatedly denied them when questioned.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
She is in fine physical condition with the fit body of a sprinter or marathon runner. She stands at 5'5", and is free of all abnormalities, though she was sickly as a child. No one would ever doubt her abilties as administrator, but she would not be people's first choice for field commander, which makes her somewhat salty.
Body Features
She is slim, fit, and of average height for a human woman. She does not have the waifish figure of a devoted wizard or academic, but neither does she have the amazonian physique of her political rival and regent, Atavaria Stratos.
Facial Features
Her face is somewhat teardrop shaped with high cheekbones and softly pointed chin. Her lips form a cupid's bow and are a soft pink, while her eyes have a subtle almond shape to them. Were it not for a sever expression that she so often wears, people would say that she has an almost statuesque beauty.
Apparel & Accessories
She dresses in silk trousers, a tight-fit shirt, and an administrator's robe. She perfers freedom of movement since her duties require being in many places around the imperial complex. She does not wear a lot of jewelry, but she wears enough to show her high class and station. She frowns on gratuitous displays of wealth, as she perfers her actions to show her true worth. One accessory that she is never without is a crimson ampoule that she wears as an amulet. People suspect that her amulet has a special purpose, but only she really knows.

Personal history
She is an ambitious individual who has taken every opportunity to advance her family and personal career. She knows better than most that while wealth and status will open many doors in the empire, only skill will truly propel one forwards. Kuveria worked within her family and then used what she learned to further her own political career. While in the imperial academy, she met and dveloped a friendship/rivalry with princess Atavaria. They worked well together and were able to further each other's careers; however, they became distant as their respective jobs took them to different parts of the empire. Their relationship soured further when they started to compete or some of the same job posting in the imperial court, and Kuveria suspected that Atavaria's royal status got her further than she should have. Kuveria began to resent her rival.

She presents and identies as a woman, though she, like many in the Trimaran empire, do not conform to traditional roles found in Jawhara or the old cities of the shattered lands.
Education
Her family has always been among the upper crust if not always wealthy, and because of that, education has always been a priority. She had private tutors during her early years beore she became old enough to attend the imperial academy. She did not possess the magical aptitude necessary for any off the arcane institutions, but she did well at most levels and ecelled in all of her classes pertaining to administration.
Employment
She started out managing amily assets and shipping manifests as her family is connected to prominent merchant and shipping houses, but her passion was in politics. She managaed to achieve local status as a civic legate, and then she achieved the governorship of the Illyrian province. She eventually gained enough clout to be stationed in the imperial inner circle as chancellor under Emperor Stratos.
Failures & Embarrassments
She considers it a personal failure that she was overlooked as the successor to the emperor. She chafes at the fact that her martial oriented rival, Atavaria, achieveed that status.
Intellectual Characteristics
She is clever, resourceul, driven, and cunning. Her keen mind is adept at problem solving, and her skills were invaluable in the last war.
Morality & Philosophy
She was brought up on the school of the end justifying the means. She fervently believes in the law, but is willing to push the lmitis of the law whenever possible to further the goals of the empire. For example, while working as an advisor for the emperor, Atavaria's father, she was archtiect behind the Pact of Grummsh, which ceded tracts of land to several orc tribes in exchange for their loyalty in the war against Jawhara. She would not call herself an immoral person, though her critics would say that she is amoral.
