Yorkshire Pack

The Yorkshire Pack was an informal gathering of werewolves based around lands owned by Livinia "Vinny" Zabini. Between 1976 - 1982 between 20 and 25 lycanthropes used the camps to transform safely. All but two members were killed in April 1982 by followers of Fenrir Greyback in revenge for perceived betrayal, since they did not side with him and the Death Eaters in the war. Remus Lupin had only been distantly connected to the pack, but he assisted in the rebuilding with the lone survivor of that attack, Vinny herself, over the following seven years.

In 1989, seven years after the massacre, Vinny and one of her pack member, Jasmine Macmillan, came forward publicly as lycanthropes and members of the Yorkshire pack, though the location remained secret. Both witches were thought dead and there was some resulting scandal for their families.
