Ellnia – Githyanki Way of Astral Self Monk
Ellnia (a.k.a. Dreadnought)
Ellnia was wanting to work hard to maintain the peace between the Githzerai and the Githyanki after the destruction of Efristan from the attempted lichdom from a wizard Harmen decades before and the Sealing of The Sin of Greed - Fraz Urb'Luu. Ellnia was a young gith at the time but has not forgotten the events of that day, and has vowed to protect the world as best they can. She found that she was much better fighting unarmed as opposed to the weapon fighting most Githzerai are trained in. She was looked at in unease as the Githyanki were the unarmed fighters. The island’s elder gave her a task as the symbol of the unison of the gith to travel to the seeping lakes and protect an item of great importance to the Gith.
After a few months at a monastery that encompassed this relic, they were lucky to survive the onslaught of a small group of monks led by a Yuan-ti, who had come to collect the relic to use for their own god, Zehir. Under the adrenaline of fighting to protect this relic, Ellnia unlocked the true aspect of her astral being, keeping the monks at range with her larger astral arms before being stunned by the yuan-ti and defeated.
After reporting back to her elder Ellnia was struggling for purpose. She wandered the land of Ofrana looking for answers, before being led by her astral self to the mirrored grasslands right to the doorstep of the crown’s quorum. The quorum, lost for words how someone made it to their doorstep without any help. Ellnia was accepted as a member before, getting trained among new recruits; an Air genasi; Typhoon and a Simic hybrid; Ghismelk.
After learning to control her astral self at will during combat. She received news from Efristan leader that the Yuan-Ti has been seen sailing around the Eribus Depths, searching for something. With this in mind, and for their own reasons, Ellnia set off with Typhoon and Ghismelk towards lustrum. Wanting to remain anonymous from each other they decided to find their own teams rather the form their own. After entering the lottery, leaving it up to the fates. She was paired with a changeling (Dox), a goliath (Thavia) and a dwarf (Gimgen).
From there Ellnia was placed in a special ops group the Planewardens. From their Ellnia was able help uncover the threat to Astrium known as the Stargaze Assembly lead by a mysterious being called the Overseer. During her travels with Quickguard, she came across information about this Yuan-Ti who had taken this relic. She travelled to Bluesnow before laying low in reconnaissance while reaching out for backup. Ellnia couldnt wait as a stone pyramid began shining and Yuan-Ti on the island were becoming glazed and non-responsive.
While investigating the pyramid temple she was eventually backed up by the Archwardens an adventuring group or legendary renown. She was able to work with the Archwardens to help defeat Ssultzula, the Yuan-Ti member of the stargaze assembly and seal away the Earth Titan - Akrais; Titan snake of Sseth.
She was integral in the final assault to take down the overseer; by stunning onslaughts of creatures, allowing time for others to escape or be defeated and ultimately stopped from reaching the planar tear in time to assist the Overseer.
Today, Ellnia is the Githzerai member of the Astrium Alliance. Ellnia was one of the first to vote her approval to open the Astrium Alliance's ranks to the best of each sub-race to ensure all voices were being heard and after the overseer had seen how stretched the Astrium Alliance was to provide assistance. She is also one of the head members of the Crown's Quorum, a society aimed at developing peoples skills relating to psionics.
