The Monk of Empty Love

Maki Hirito (A.K.A. "The Buddha") is a monk who avidly follows and leads the religion of Emptiness. Hirito is a 5'11" human, with long, flowing teal hair and bright teal eyes. He consistently wears his modified monk-garb, a traditional robe with the shoulders cut off and the legs split for better movement. He has recently picked up a shakujō that looks like flowing gold, obsidian, and sapphire that seems to bend and flow however he desires.

Maki used to lead a large group of monks in the name of Emptiness, and was a revered and respected member of galactic society. But after receiving his new shakujō, his entire personality seemed to change. He turned from a benevolent, religious leader to a megalomaniac. Shortly after he was seen with his new staff, he slaughtered the entire Order of Emptiness that inhabited the flagship Hirito owned, known as the "Empty Heart". He now drifts in the ship, somehow running the behemoth all on his own. The government has tried everything short of sending a Navarch to confront him, but everytime they never return.

Hirito has become a psychopathic madman, who always claims the deeds he commits are orders from his "god", and is rarely seen with emotion other than joy spread across his face. Maki has gone on to slay entire planets worth of people single-handedly, and is deemed an extremely high-threat by the Coalition. If you see a teal flagship, or hear the jingling of a shakujō, run for your life and call the Coalition.

When asked his opinions on the Pirate Lords, Maki responds: "Buddha finds them amusing, so I suppose I do too. An uncouthe bunch really, Buddha wishes to spread the Emptiness to them soon"
