Navarch Hydronus

Hydronus Broekhoven was known as the Navarch of Water. He was a 5'6" water genassi, with complete power over water. A more battle-based Navarch, he was well known for his creepy tendencies and flaky personality. Navarch Hydronus abandoned many battles, and got several Coalition Units killed in battle due to his absence. The public was furious at his cowardice and hounded the Navy to punish him. High Command had other plans however, and intentionally dragged their feet in the legal department to delay his discharge for as long as possible.

Eventually, the Pirate Lord Matthias came for him, which resulted in the Battle of Navereh, which took the corrupt Navarch's life. The Navarch was beaten so badly his magic became a nebula which caused eternal rain to fall in the, now renamed, Torrent Sector. The untimely death of the Navarch has lead to a small power vacuum forming in the ranks of the Navarchs, as Navarch Callum was promoted early, due to his family status. To this day, Callum is still trying to catch up to other Navarchs in terms of power, and this tension of a weak Navarch has lead to many rebellions and outcries to begin surfacing during this weakness of the Coalition.

Navarch Broekhoven was known for his creativity in battle, using the oceans of planets to conjure pirate ships, space ships, and all manners of firepower to use in large-scale wars. Hydronus often leveraged his status to gain women, money, and fame, and was often seen strolling the streets of various space stations during large conflicts.
