Lydia

Lydia was born in Wrinkle Town to a pair of hard-bitten scavengers, as so many of the scattered survivors in Eldoria are. She followed in her parents' footsteps, wandering the broken land in search for scraps to improve her life. Hard-won lessons in magic, most of which were self-taught from fragments of old tomes, or begged or bribed off of passers-by, fueled Lydia and gave her an edge. Eventually, her search for anything at all narrowed into a search for knowledge and power.
When she turned sixteen, Lydia bid her homeland farewell, and took the first ship she could to Hale. She lived there for a year and a half, and in her wanderings, found something that permanently changed her. She moved to Heim not long after, and has been living there ever since.
