Kaelas Sunehrai

Kaelas was an orphan in Byat. Kidnapped and sold into slavery, he was soon purchased and freed by the esteemed Jostar family. Taught how to serve the family and paid well, his natural talents in getting in and out of places he ought not to be, and his skills with a blade quickly earned him a spot amongst their bodyguards. At that same time, one of their most unlikeable family members got themselves exiled from their lands in the desert... and as the newest recruit, the dishonor and true misfortune of having to keep that particularly unpleasant around as long as possible to suffer from their own lack of self awareness. So they traveled away from his adopted home, a solemn oath promised to do his job no matter how much he really, really, really didn't want to.
