Hammond Dront

Born beneath the ever-smoldering skies of Hale—often called the “Land of Ash and Fire” for its vast dunes of blackened ash and constant geothermal upheaval—Hammond learned early that only the steadfast survive where the earth itself boils beneath your feet. His childhood village lay on the fringes of the Emberveil Craters, an autonomous territory famed for its mystic hot springs and rivers of molten rock, where local smiths forge weapons said to carry a spark of the magma’s own fury.
Trained from boyhood to temper his blade and his resolve in the same fiery forge, he developed an iron discipline and a protective instinct as unyielding as his homeland. As he came of age, Hammond donned full plateand took up a spiked tower shield to guard his comrades from both blade and flame. In his right hand he wields a massive warhammer, its head hammered in the forges to deliver punishing blows when enhanced with his own magics. Driven by a promise to defend those who cannot flee the fury of the earth, he now travels beyond Hale’s borders, carrying both the scars and the spirit of his volcanic home wherever he goes.
