Vortex of Perdition

The Vortex of Perdition is a vortex in the Sea of Wailing Souls, one of the lower planes. It's said that the vortex draws in the souls with the heaviest sins and refines out the sins to create powerful demons, while the remnants are recycled to be turned into new souls. No one can come close to it, not without being torn asunder. None known have seen the center of the vortex. From above it's an abyss of darkness.
