Unira

An Aquana world located in the Omar cluster, Unira is primarily water with an average depth of just over 1,500 meters. The aquana here are noted for their medical technology and healing magic which is more advanced than most of the region. There are numerous cities on the ocean floor that only aquatic species can easily access. Floating cities are more hospitable to visitors, and some of them such as Jewel on the Sea are vacation resorts.
The planet has two moons which influence the weather. The few parts of the planet above water are frequently ravaged by storms.
Aside from aquana, the other primary inhabitants of Unira are merfolk, though a surprising number of other species live on the cities above the waves, and even in some domed undersea cities.
The space station High Waters is the primary gateway to Unira, as well as the headquarters of the defensive fleet of Unira. There is also a civilian station called the Pearl of Unira. Aquana stations tend to have a high level of humidity that is uncomfortable for many other species.
