Pufflesticks

A plant native to Brightdawn, pufflesticks are a reed-like weed that grows across large parts of the world, with a segmented appearance similar to bamboo. When the reed matures, it explodes, launching its seeds up to a hundred meters in every direction and creating a brightly colored liquid with a foul stench. It primarily grows near water, and as such is common in riverside areas or ditches.
Immature reeds are often used by children as part of pranks, so it’s a common curse word on Brightdawn.
