Djinn

Djinni are powerful magical creatures with the ability to change their appearance, as well as grant wishes (which often go very awry). They are very resilient: djinni are almost impossible to kill for most people, however they can be hurt. A djinn can be killed if struck in the head, but the nature of their magic makes even that incredibly difficult. Even if killed, they can recover from death.

High status djinn tend to have harems as a matter of course. These harems often consist of dozens of male or female djinn.
Djinn remember prior experiences and emotions as if almost no time has passed. However new experiences are more intense, which is why djinn seek them out.

Wish Magic

Djinni can grant wishes to mortals. Because they warp reality, wishes always come with costs and consequences. Djinn can try to direct and mitigate these consequences, but cannot control them entirely.
Wish magic prefers to take the path of least resistance in many ways. You never know when the effects will be mild or completely out of proportion to the wish you make.
