Caldere City

Calderé is visible from anywhere on the Isle of Drakes, thanks to the smoldering volcano that towers over it. Mount Spitfire’s crater is home to a permanent portal to the Elemental Plane of Fire, which constantly spews forth glowing aether vapor that hangs above the islands, giving the Isle of Drakes’ sky a golden, sunset glow. Despite Mount Spitfire’s volatile presence, this island houses a city of people. Recently, island life has become difficult due to elemental creatures emerging from the volcano’s core. This has also led to rising tensions among the civilians as they struggle to deal with the situation.
