III - Precursor Imprint

As discussed in the introduction, Precursor Technology was discovered in mass all across the Moreta Quadrant. The reason behind such high presence of Precursor relics as well as the state they are in as been discussed time and time again by the scientific community as a whole. Eventually, two theories were confirmed and branded as actual history :

• The first one being that the Moreta Quadrant is more than likely the home sector of the Precursors, their home system as not yet been confirmed, but it is certain that the high concentration of relics and installations upholds the possibility dictated by the theory. Whether the Milky Way is their home galaxy or not, it is certified that the Moreta Quadrant is where most of their forces and core worlds were in our galaxy.

• The second theory leads to the allusion that a massive war must have happened within the sector. The presence of damage and destruction clearly goes to show that time for not what destroyed the Precursors of the Moreta Quadrant. The most common kind of damage that can be found on ships; installations and robots are what appears to be bite marks and holes going through the relics, implying that they were shot by something incredibly powerful. Considering that Precursor Alloy is viewed as one of the most durable and resilient materials in the galaxy, it is worrying that a certain technology allowed whatever attacked the Precursors to pierce their alloy like butter.

Unfortunately, this is where the research progress ends, since the last remaining relics that were possessed by Governmental factions got eventually stolen. It was found out years later that Hegima Inc. had hired many smugglers and collectors from the Black Market in order to acquire the remaining pieces of technology. Many organizations tried to call out their actions, but the Robotic Powerhouse that is Hegima Ind. simply became too powerful and influential. Thus, all accusations towards Hegima Inc. were ignored, do note that this abuse of power on Hegima’s part will later allow them to enslave the Kirhos with little to no consequences.

Nowadays, almost all of the Precursor relics owned by Hegima were reverse-engineered and adapted to this era. Whether it be robots; augments; computers or even mass surveillance, Hegima Inc. has all the required tools to be the top dog amongst the Mega-Corporations and perhaps even the Galaxy as a whole. Without the Moreta Quadrant’s Precursor heritage, Hegima would not have grown to become the dominating and self-centered powerhouse it is today.
