Aurora I Mission

Expedition

Mar. 15 2132 - Jan. 13 2155 CE

The Aurora mission of 2132 - 2155 was a 23-year expedition to the planet Hemera in the Barnard's Star system, and the third crewed interstellar voyage humanity undertook. Six humans aboard the freshly refitted UNSS Skyward Spirit were sent to study this alluring alien world, and their work paved the way for the future settlement of Hemera. Among the discoveries made by the Aurora crew were the ruins of skgri'i civilization like those found on Fortuna, producing a decades-long debate regarding which planet was the true homeworld of this long-vanished species.
