Appearance

During the day

The Katibus resembles a normal cat. Soft shiny fur, a stub nose and the same, appraisal look. Externally, the Katibus cannot be distinguished from a cat during the day. The sounds also resemble a cat, the Katibus also gives a kind of "meow". Most specimens of the Katibus have a striped fur in gray or red, but there are also white and brown mixed specimens. However, these are very rare to find.

At night

The Katibus changes its appearance at night. A monster-like face appears with a huge mouth and sharp teeth on its belly. The whites of his eyes turn black. The shape of a cat is preserved. Both pairs of eyes, on the face and on the stomach, have their own attention. While the cat's head looks right at night, the face on the stomach can look to the left without any problems. To date, it is not known whether these are 2 creatures or just one. It has been observed that the creature makes a purring sound out of its stomach huge mouth.

Behaviour

The Katibus likes to hide or sit in high positions and have an overview of the situation, and the Katibus is very shy. However, if you have managed to gain the trust of a Katibus, there is a purr when touched.
The Katibus flees immediately if more than one person is present.
You should only approach a Katibus during the day. This being is evil, which it lives out at night.
The Katibus hunt is not active, it attracts its potential prey by its cuddly appearance and uses moments in which the victim is helpless, mostly while the potential prey is sleeping. The Katibus not only kills to survive, it also plays with its prey and leaves its corpse untouched.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Katibus is omnivorous, but prefers meat from freshly hunted prey.
From time to time, the Katibus chokes up indigestible parts of its food together with fur residues.

Domesticated

There are no known cases in which a Katibus has been successfully tamed.
