Jamco is a shipbuilding megacorp based in the Astionite city of Strasa. Founded and led by cutthroat business mogul Gideon Roth, Jamco was the first and remains the most successful builder of astral vessels on the planet of Astion.
Many astral travelers find their first opportunity aboard Jamco ships, and nearly as many don't last a year due to the company-mandated rigorous schedules and pay often described as "insultingly low." Some have taken to calling this turnover-inducing phenomenon the "Jamco Jump."
