Structure
The Klif Company is a rather disorganized group of elite Adventurer/Mercenaries that goes about the three Acoran States helping their people with any number of odd jobs. The Helm(Leader) is always chosen by the old Helm who abdicates his position before dying, in the case that the old Helm dies before abdicating, a new Helm is elected among the group who call themselves a "Family"

History
The Klif company's origins are unknown. What is known is that they've been here since even the days of the Dreazar empire. Many Mercenary companies have come and gone since the Klif Company rose to prominence, though none would ever be as illustrious as the Klif Company itself. It's not known if the company has always been referred to as the Klif Company either, only that the same organization has been operating this entire time.
Nobody outside of its few members even know how to find where it is located. It's said that the company moves its location every hundred or so years, so as to not be found out, others say they've kept the same hidden base for the entirety of their existence. What is known is that they live in a secluded fort built by dwarves thousands of years ago in the cliffs deep within the mountains that border the the great crags to the north. Not just anyone can join the Klif company, most if not all members have been scouted by other members. Many families have joined their ranks, and each member is known almost intimately before being invited... Or so they say...
