Shrek
Inhabitant of the Mere of Dead Men. An Ogre, one of the only friendly ones around. Shrek is only looking for peace and quiet. He's a harmless yet grumpy giant. Don't get him angered. Spends his day roaming for food and tending to his herd of sheep.
Will only attack in self defence, has created a home for himself in the swamp. Though now and then he goes to spy on the nearby village, Leilon. A new village, whose inhabitants seem to like stealing sheep now and then. Never harmed anyone, though the times villagers caught sight of him they either screamed and ran, or grabbed a pitchfork. He is aware of the 'old loon' and the 'pretty demon lady' but as long as they leave him alone he leaves them alone.
Hard to be convinced to leave his swamp, even for the sake of his sheep. For now seems content to sit and trty to defend his sheep on the full moon.
