Welcome, travelers under the stars, to the continent of Avium! Although your reasons may vary, you are all here now, in the continent of desire. While your glee is expected and greatly appreciated, know that these lands are dangerous, and that only those who rise above the rest and carve thier own path may survive what's to come. Wondering what that is, are you? Well, here in Avium answers don't just come for free, so explore and search to your hearts content! That's all you really can do, after all.
Although, all great adventures begin with a mystery, so I will you all a little hint. As you may have noticed, in the middle of the continent is a vast desert, colloquially known as "The Badlands". Rumor has it, that an oasis is located in the middle of this wretched place, an oasis filled with riches, treasures and knowledge so unimaginable, they undoubtedly have the potential to change the world. Sounds like a done deal, right? Well, there is a reason why the treasure has not yet been claimed. The outskirts of the Badlands are dangerous enough, but the further you venture towards the center of the hellhole, the more hellish the hole becomes. Monsters of legend, beasts straight out of hell, natural disasters that ravage the land, the oasis is considered to be impossible to reach. But who knows? Maybe, just maybe, the oasis can be reached and conquered. And maybe, the conquerors could even be you.
If throwing yourself to your death isn't really your cup of tea, you could always search for the mystery country. To the far east, there exists a land of vast riches and mysteries, home to humanoid species never seen before. But riches aren't the only thing littering the lands. There is a rumored phenomena unique to this country, never seen before anywhere else. According to the rumors, death is not the end for a majority of creatures in the eastern land, as they instead transcend death, continuing to live and exist in the physical plane as spirits. Why or how this phenomena occurs is entirely unknown to us, but it seems like this happening is well understood by the inhabitants of the east. There may be a possibility that the inhabitants are willing to share the mysteries of their land with you, if you can even come into the country alive. Although the rest of the continent engage in trade with the country of mystery, no living outsider has ever stepped foot in the land, as all the trade agreements were established many decades ago. On top of this, the inhabitants of the country of mystery guard their borders religiously. But contact and travel isn't impossible, so exploring this country is still a possibility for ever-growing adventurers such as yourselves.
