The crystal

Atlas' crown contains a bright red crystal that has an eye within.

Atlas can see through this crystal, and it gives him enhanced abilities with spotting magic items.

The crystal seems to have a mind of it's own at times and has a psychic influence on all that are around it, especially for long periods of time.

It is the source of Atlas' powers.

The crown itself seems to have ancient runes lining the socket that contains the crystal, perhaps hinting towards it's hstory
