Over time, slimes have become intelligent and sophisticated, which they learned from humans.

Over time they also lost their acidity, leading to them only being able to consume soft foods or liquids, far less than their ancestors.

Each slime has a core, which is essentially their brain. It holds within it their intelligence and consciousness. If their slime is disconnected from the main body, it acts out of pure animal instinct until reconnected to the consciousness.

Physically, slimes excel at their regeneration abilities, but usually have much less strength than other species, they are also not very durable, but can reform easily.

They usually do not like Flameborn very much.
