Ignis Skull

The skull of an Ignis Vulture, used to create fire.

The skull functions as a sort of lighter, as when the beak is opened, specialized bones within the mouth that contain minerals scrape each other to create powerful sparks, though without propulsion, they cannot expand into a proper flame.

That is why commercially, ignis skulls are sold with technology attached to them that blows air outward when ignited, causing a flame to appear.

Smaller ignis skulls are used as simple lighters but larger ones can be used as flamethrowers in combat scenarios.
