Cold bitter wind sweeps through the mountain pass, you and your party press forward.
For over 120 bloody years the dwarves of the Guardstone mountains have lived under the tyrannical rule of Umythkar, the bloody bearded dwarf, the demon king. Four bloody failed insurrections resulted in thousands of dead dwarves and gnomes rebels, and thousands more executed in bloody retribution by Umythkar and his captains. Twenty long years have passed since the last major rebellion, persistent brutality, barely subsistence food, and clan hostages can only lead to another major insurrection. Whether this one can succeed depends on whether heroes can rise to lead the way to freedom.
