Adalanor

Eccentric, ancient, and always a prankster (dangerously so, unfortunately), Adalanor is a wizard presumably residing in the city of Palan. He takes residence in the Tower of Adalanor, a building of unknown magical origin that the wizard seems to be able to move around at will. It is well known that the wizard is a hoarder of exotic goods and treasure, and, interestingly, leaves his front door unlocked.
While the door might be unlocked, it is not unguarded. The defenses of Adalanor's tower are notoriously lethal, with untold numbers of would-be adventurers and thieves losing their lives in pursuit of the fabled treasures.
