General Summary
The 20th of Serrum, 1390 of the Storm Era, The City of Centercross
The party enters Centercross and speaks with a Dwarven woman who gives them directions to the Rambling Waters Pub and Tavern on the other side of the Icari. Dink gives her a silver piece for the information. The party arrives at the Rambling Waters Pub and Tavern. The party all pays 5 sp for their room and board (horses as well) and 5 sp for their food. They take their packs to their rooms. Then they sit down and began to discuss informing the local magistrate about the construct army
After the party eats, they break up for the evening and go to sleep.
The 21th of Serrum, 1390 of the Storm Era, The City of Centercross, The Rambling Waters Pub and Tavern.
The party awakes and begins going about their morning duties. As Moloch goes to train he encounters Beldani Joyfulness preparing for the day. They exchange pleasantries and go about their business. Galad and Moloch order eggs, bacon and toast and begin to eat. Vex comes down and begins to eat rudely. Ghesh arrives and scolds Vex for his eating manners.
Moloch, Ghesh and Dink go to the Magistrates office and meet Thilenwe who is an ineffectual man who is terrified by the news given to him and begins to pack up immediately. Ghesh stops him and picks him up to get him to see reason just as Shire Reeve Clifton enters the room. The Shire Reeve asks Ghesh to put down the Magistrate who then runs out of the room. The party tells Clifton about the construct army and the goings on. Clifton said he would take care of it. Thilenwe runs off into the distance with his thimble collection.
Moloch, Ghesh and Dink return to the pub and get everybody ready to go. Vex succeeds in stealing a mug. Beladni says goodbye to Moloch and blows him a goodbye kiss. Moloch blushes.
The party heads out of town headed along the road eastbound. After about three hours they found a crossroads and headed east to Greypeak.
After another six hours they found another crossroads and headed north east to Greypeak. After a few more hours the Neverlight mountain range begins to be visible in the distance as the sun goes down. The party finds a place to camp and Galad builds a campfire. As they sat around the campfire and ate their rations as they spoke about Moloch’s past, the Neverlight Monastery and its history. He speaks of his friends Voyd and Kenji and begins to speak of them to his friends.
Dink begins to examine the glowstone and feels like there is a presence in the stones. As the other party members begin to handle the glowstones they feel quite uncomfortable holding them. Like a haunted room, they feel like they are being watched. The party pondered over these revelations and discussed if they could find some answers in Greypeak. The party retires for the evening.
The 22nd of Serrum, 1390 of the Storm Era, on the road to Greypeak
Moloch is the first one awake and goes about his morning exercises. Vex wakes up and after not being able to sleep he walks up to spar with Moloch. Vex attacks Moloch and hits him and deals a little subduction damage. Dink awakes to the noise of the scuffle. Vex attempts to attack but trips and falls down on his face as Dink comes up to stop the fight. Vex stands as Moloch yells out that they are just training. Moloch lands a couple more hits, Vex stands wearily and tries to hit Moloch again but misses and Moloch. Ghesh and Milo wake up to see Vex get kneed to the face and knock Vex to the ground. Vex stands and declines to continue the sparring session and walks away. Moloch returns to training.
Vex returns to the campfire where Galad is stoking the fire, grinning at the defeated Vex. Galad has prepared some rabbits he caught for the party to eat. Dink and Ghesh begin practicing prayer and Moloch and Vex have a short exchange.
The party consumes the rabbits graciously provided by Galad. Then everyone breaks camp.
Along the way Dink shows off one of his new artifacts, throwing an item at Milo who teleports up the trail by 90’.
As the party approaches town they hear a commotion, there seems to be a party of green-skinned bandits attacking the town.
The Battle of the Greypeak
- Galad advances on the enemy.
- Ghesh advances and casts Sacred Weapon his sword begins to glow.
- Vex dashes in and hits Eye of Gruumsh Orc for 18 damage.
- Moloch advances and jumps into the middle of the green-skin horde and attacks with a bonus action hitting twice dealing 13 damage.
- Orc 1 attacks Kenji dealing 8 damage.
- Orc War Chief attacks Moloch dealing 11 damage.
- Orc Eye of Gruumsh 1 Hits Vex dealing 3 damage.
- Orc Archer 1 attacks Ghesh but misses.
- Milo casts Tidal Wave and deals 17 damage to every enemy except Orc 2 and knocks them all prone.
- Ogre 1 attacks Molocah and hits dealing 9 damage.
- Ogre 2 attacks Kenji but misses.
- Ogre 3 attacks Ghesh but misses.
- Dink attacks Ogre 3 but misses twice.
- Kobo advances and dashes to get into range.
- Kenji attacks Ogre 1 for 12 damage.
- Galad attacks Ogre 3 for 17 damage.
- Ghesh uses his breath weapon and Ogre 3 manages to dodge taking 5 damage, but the Eye of Gruumsh 2 and Orc 2 take 9 damage.
- Vex attacks Eye of Gruumsh 1 for 20 damage, killing it.
- Moloch uses Flurry of blows and hits Orc Chief who is prone 6 times dealing a total of 57 damage!!
- Orc Chieftain attacks Moloch dealing 18 damage to Moloch.
- Orc 1 attacks Kenji but misses
- Orc 2 attacks Galad and deals 8 damage.
- Eye of Grummish 2 attacks Vex dealing 8 damage.
- Milo casts Magic Missile at the Orc Chieftain at the second level dealing 19 damage killing it.
- Ogre 1 attacks Moloch but misses.
- Ogre 2 attacks Kenji dealing him 18 damage.
- Kobo attempts to tackle Ogre 3 but fails
- Dink attacks Ogre 3 twice and hits twice, the first one being a critical hit. Dealing a total of 33 damage.
- Galad attacks Orc 2 twice, missing once, dealing 6 damage. Killing it.
- Ghesh attacks Eye of Grummish 2 dealing 8 damage.
- Vex attacks the Eye of Grummish 2 twice, missing once, dealing 6 damage.
- Moloch uses a potion of Greater Healing restoring 11 HP.
- The Eye of Grummish casts Command on Ghesh but fails.
- Orc 1 tries to attack Kenji but fails.
- Milo casts Magic Missile at level 1 on Ogre 1 dealing 12 damage.
- Ogre 1 attacks Moloch but misses.
- Ogre 2 attacks Kenji dealing 12 damage.
- Kobo attempts to trip the Eye of Grummish 2 but fails.
- Dink attacks Ogre 1 twice missing once dealing 16 damage.
- Galad attacks Ogre 2 twice, missing once dealing 8 damage.
- Ghesh moves to flank Eye of Grummish 2 attacking with a critical hit and another attack hitting both dealing a combined 27 damage killing it.
- Vex advances on Ogre 2 and attacks it twice, hitting both times (once with sneak attack ) dealing a total of 27 damage. Killing it.
- Moloch uses Flurry of Blows against Ogre 1 dealing 27 damage.
- The final Orc turned to flee but was struck down as it ran by Kenji and Vex.
