Goblin Settlement Weston Area

Off the beaten path, about a mile south of the main highway out of Weston is a small village that was built on the grounds of an ancient catacombs. The Goblin Boss Nitskrag built privative huts to cover the catacombs and protect his base of operations. From this base camp Nitskrag and his goblin bandits have been raiding travelers on the road between Weston and the crossroads that lead to Weatherdeep. Early in the month of Serrum of 1390 of the Storm Era, Grand Artificer Anon had ordered a shipment of glowstone from the dwarven mines of Thol Badur. They were shipped to Weston and then carried by cartload towards Weatherdeep, but along the way Nitzkrag's henchmen ambushed the shipment and killed the guards carrying the shipment off to their hideout. On the 2nd of Serrum, 1390 of the Storm Era, The Grand Artificer sent Reginall to the Hungry Ogre to commission a group of adventurers to track down the shipment. Later that day the party set out and eventaully found the location where the shipment was ambushed, and then they tracked the shipment to the Goblin Settlement.

Underneath the Goblin Settlement the party found secret tunnels that lead to an underground dungeon where the goblins operated from. Further inside the group found the missing shipment being guarded by Nitzcrag himself. After defeating him they were able to recapture the missing glowstone. During the event, some of the memebers of the party were "called" deeper into the dungeon by a mysterious presence. This led the party to finding one of the lost Rue Stones
