They escort her [Kashi] to the inn, she is taken through the doors, where a host of knights and captains pour over battle maps and discuss strategies. At the far end of the room, a sickly looking man, Baldwin, his face appears beaten, as though from a fever.

Yankee Samarai08/21/2019 All goes silent, as Baldwin stands. It is a struggle, Kashi sees he has suffered from a chilling attack, he holds his right arm close to his body, clutching near his heart. Guard-1: "The prisoner Sire!" They push her forward. Baldwin limps over. His staff gathers for the show. Scarface stands near where Baldwin was sitting.

Yankee Samarai08/21/2019 Baldwin circles her, inspecting. When she speaks, a look of worry flushes over Scarface, he realizes who this isn't. Baldwin returns to the front of his desk, and slowly, to avoid pain, sits on top of it. "I only suffer for my King!" he remarks. "But you.... "You're very...pruned, to be an outlaw."

Scarface: "It is from the Council of Bergenstaat my Lord!" reads through the paper. A wicked smile appears. "They have confirmed that an alliance with the Sanctified would be both profitable and prudent, and will supply our cause."
