But beyond the artifacts themselves, Sento had much to report on troubling things stirring in the mainland. Not an hour after arrival the camp was beset by archers that could not die. After this everyone returned to camp several badly wounded, and a report came in of a shapeshifter, a bear lyncntrope if you will that beset the group and stole the artifact. Whatever these things are they are highly valued by many people.

Sento stayed for several days more over which time, a peddler was caught trying to sell poisons as medicine, and a group of elves were trying to capture another group.

As for contacts made, a higher up from Akihide was met and befriended. The land is however too far for ease of trade and most of their good perishable. A mantis kind was also met so it seems other animal like races exist as rumored. He clams this one to be benevolent unlike the Tengu.
