"Chance's Death" | Chance, Rahu, Maria, Amber

Once Rahu became king and set things straight after what Azaz had done, Chance grew worse with each day, the poison only got worse.
This is when king Rahu and Queen Maria had three kids. Chance was babysitting them. After Queen Maria came back Chance decided to visit other places in Ashnuw besides Aldegour since his father was no longer around to tell him what to do.
He ventured to Adventurerers Outpost. There he met a halfling girl, her name was Amber. They became friends but they both started having feelings for each other. Alas Chance knew if he wanted to make this work he would have to find a cure for his poisoning, so he worked day and night without rest to find a cure.
He successfully did after 3 years. At this point he was 57 (24 in human years). He gave his effective cure to everyone who was under the influence of the poison. Once he had given his last bottle away he went home.
But Chance knew something wasn't right. He ignored it because he was too excited for the next day's arrival. He had an engagement ring he had gotten from the antidote he sold.
That night he died. He was found the next morning on the ground beside his bed. The covers wrapped around him were bloody. The Manticore poison had eaten straight through his stomach.
Alas Chance at least had experienced some sort of love in his lifetime before being brutally killed by the poison he had found the cure for. He was too giving to take it for himself.
Thankfully King Rahu found Chance's recipe for the antidote and they continued curing those who needed it.
