Black Steppes

These sandy hills and short mountain ranges are a mostly barren place with a harsh environment that can be hard to find a good footing in. You will mostly find nomadic tribes of Earth Genasi, Orc, and Dragonborn through this vast and desolate landscape.

But, within the vast wasteland of sand and stone there is also life not in the small ways mostly, but the big ones...

This is where warriors come to test their mettle against large opponents such as wyrms and other desert or burrowing beasts and monsters. Many bandit hideouts can be found here, and you will likely cross paths with bounty hunters here as well hiding from the law in the place where tracking them down would be near impossible with all the shifting sands. The sand hills are largely uncharted, so this place is ripe for mapping missions as well as illegal trade routes.
