You brandish the weapon used in the spell's casting and make a melee attack with it against one creature within your reach. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack's normal effects, and small light spears begin to orbit between it and any of your allies within 5 feet of it. If the target ends its turn within 5 feet of one or more of your allies, it takes 1d4 radiant damage for each one of your allies that is adjacent to it.

This spell's damage increases when you reach certain levels. At 5th level, the melee attack deals an extra 1d4 radiant damage to the target on a hit, and the damage the target takes from the tiny spears increases to 2d4. Both damage rolls increase by 104 at 11th level (2d4 and 3d4) and again at 17th level (3d4 and 4d4).
