Make a melee spell attack against a creature within range. If the attack hits, you deal 5d10 necrotic damage. You heal for half the amount of damage dealt.
Amplify (2): You roll the two Hit Dice, taking true damage equal to the result and reducing your maximum hp until the end of your next long rest, to heal for the total amount of damage instead of half.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 5th.
