Ley Touched
Maybe your birth occurred over one of the many ley lines in Ashieldr, or maybe your parent was a mighty druid or eladrin, Perhaps even you ate of the fruits of Yggdrasil. However it happened, you now have an innate connection to the Word Tree, and its roots which pulse pure primal magic across the world. The spectral lines of power and raw mana dance across your dreams, and the thrum of the earth reverberates in your veins.

Knowledge Beyond Sense
From 1st level, you may spend an action concentrating to "sense" if any ley lines are present within a 1 mile radius. If you continue to concentrate for a minute you know its strength and what direction it is from you. You may do this once per short or long rest.
Lifeforce mana
Starting at 1st level, your magic is connected to your very life. You may expend hit die in place of sorcery points, or whenever you cast a spell of level 1 or higher, you may expend and roll 1 hit die as you would during a short rest.
Roots of Power
At 6th level, you gain the ability to grow a small grove which diverts the power of the world tree from a nearby leyline. As an action on your turn, you spend 4 sorcery points to conjure a "Place of Power" which is a 10ft diameter circle conjured beneath your feat. Depending on the location the DM may choose to place it in a more "lore appropriate place" on the battle field. You may have only one of these active at a time, an old one fading whenever you create a new one or complete a short rest. While in this place of power you gain the following benefits:
- The first primal surge you use each turn adds +1 to the spell level.
- You gain pb Temporary HP whenever you start your turn within the place of power.
- You may use controlled casting for Dispel magic or Counterspell, costing 2 sorcery points. If you cast either this way you must make the ability check regardless of the spell you are attempting to end.
Ley Soul
Also at 6th level, when you use the action for knowledge beyond sense, the range expands to 10 miles. Additionally if you concentrate the full minute, you are able to see the ley lines for up to 1 hour after using this feature.
You ignore the first level of exhaustion you receive through a ley tap attempt, regardless of if it is a success or failure.
Salvage Spell
At 14th level, as you unweave others spells, you may take some energy for yourself. Whenever you end a spell through dispel magic or counterspell you regain a missing use of your magic surge ability.
Center of the World
Starting at 18th level, When you conjure your place of power you create a temporary leyline directly to the world tree itself. As a part of conjuring a "place of power" you may expend an additional 4 sorcery points to empower it, increasing its diameter to 20ft, and providing the following additional benefits on top of its normal effects:
- All Primal spells Cast by a creature within the place of power are cast as if with a spell slot 1 level higher than what the castor expended.
- Whenever a spell would target you, or an aoe would overlap with your place of power, you may controlled cast counterspell as you would in a normal place of power, without consuming your reaction.
- A lesser mana ley line is formed and may be tapped as per standard ley line rules, If there is an existing ley line within a quarter mile, it diverts into this one, increasing the stronger ley line by one category up to a nexus.
