ClockWork Knight

Sturdy and reliable, Clockwork Knights employ the use of machinery to augment their offensive and defensive prowess.

This Subclass functions as an arcane subclass in addition to Divine.

Clockwork Rig
When you make this covenant at 3rd level, you swear to adopt the consistency and reliability of the mechanical devices you create. During a short or long rest, you may touch a suit of armor and transform it into your Clockwork Rig. You must be capable of wearing that armor to do so. You gain the following benefits while wearing your Clockwork Rig:
-Second Skin. The armor attaches to you and can’t be removed against your will. It also expands to cover your entire body, although you can retract or deploy the helmet as a bonus action. The armor replaces any missing limbs, functioning identically to a body part it is replacing.
-Quick Don and Doff. You can doff or don the armor as an action.
-Self-Repair. If the mending spell is cast on you while you are wearing your Clockwork Rig, you may expend one of your hit dice, roll it, and regain hit points equal to the result of the roll + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).
-Servo-Assisted. You can use your armor’s gauntlets to make unarmed strikes. When you hit with them, the strike deals focus die + your Charisma modifier bludgeoning damage. This attack has the Bypass and Sundering Properties.

Constructed Assistant
Also at 3rd level, you gain the ability to cast the Find Familiar spell, but only as a ritual. When you do, its creature type is construct, and it takes on a mechanical appearance appropriate to the form you selected.

Tools of the Trade
Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with smith’s tools. If you already have this tool proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan’s tools of your choice.

Defensive Directive
Starting at 6th level, whenever you choose to recklessly defend, allies within 10ft of your familiar also gain the benefits of your Reckless Defense feature.

Overclock
Starting at 6th level, your focus can push your rig into overdrive. As a bonus action on your turn while you are wearing your Clockwork Rig, you may enter an overclocked state for 1 minute or until you choose to end it. While you are overclocked, your movement speed increases by 10 feet, you now add your proficiency bonus to the damage rolls of your armors gauntlet attack, you have advantage on Strength checks and saving throws, and creatures do not gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of you recklessly defending allies. At the end of each of your turns while you remain overclocked, you take fire damage equal to two rolls of your focus dice, as your rig heats up to dangerous levels. This damage cannot be ignored or reduced in any way, and this damage is dealt to your hit points directly rather than any temporary hit points.

Ablative Plating
Starting at 11th level, when you spend a Focus die to Endure or Shrug Off, you may treat a roll of 2 or fewer on the die as a 3. If you are overclocked, you may treat the result of the roll as a 5 instead.

Perfected Rig
Starting at 17th level, while you are wearing your Clockwork Rig, you gain the following benefits:
-Mighty Blow. Whenever you hit with an unarmed strike using your armor’s gauntlets, the attack deals one additional damage die.
-Mechanical Endurance. When you enter your overclocked state, you may choose to expend and roll a Focus die to gain temporary hit points as though you had used your Brace Up feature.
-Clockwork Juggernaut. While you are overclocked, you grow to size Large if there is space to accommodate you, and your reach increases by 5 feet.
