The visions of the Mi'tar choose the seers, granting them visions to escape the cinder. And since then they have sent visions to their chosen visionaries. The elves believe the Mi'tar to be more of force than a god.

A great schism exist with Mi'tarnism, the Dakar believe that Darador Flametouched was a seer and visionary and thus followed him to the material realm.
The Faerune however often refer to Darador as a false prophet, misleading there people.
