The Quiet Tome is a vast, decentralized network of libraries and knowledge sanctuaries whose purpose is the collection, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge to the public. It is not a university, nor a magical academy, but something older and more holistic: an infrastructure of shared wisdom meant to uplift the world’s people through learning.
Branches exist in nearly every capital — excluding Shinryu (which has rejected them) and Voltaris, where public debate is ongoing.
Founding & Purpose
Founded centuries ago by a wandering wizard (later revealed to be an emerald dragon in disguise), the Quiet Tome arose in response to growing ignorance, suppression of truth, and the erosion of cultural memory. It exists to:

- Counterbalance oppression by ensuring truth is never locked away
