The Outlands
“You want to die clean, or live dirty? The Outlands don’t care either way — but they’ll remember what you chose.”
The Outlands are a frozen, forested mountain range located north of the Crystalmaw Peaks, pressed against the frigid reach of the Silent White. Though once a no-man’s land, it is now known as the last stop for those exiled from civilization. A place of survival, rebirth, and silence, the Outlands represent both execution and redemption.
This harsh terrain is year-round cold, dotted with scattered settlements built by those who survived exile. It shares borders only with Voltaris and the Alderwyn Wilds, and no nation claims dominion over it. Ignaroth the Infernal, red dragon of the Crystalmaw Peaks, keeps a distant watch on the region.
