Dreadspire

“It rose from the sea — and the world changed forever.”

Dreadspire was the first rediscovered Ancient Super City, unearthed by accident during a naval battle between Ironspire and Shinryu. Its reappearance shattered the belief that the Necrosis Virus had been eradicated — millions of undead still roamed its depths.

Now mostly submerged, this ruined wonder of the Ancient Prosperity era was once a luxury city and oceanic research facility, though few alive today know its original purpose.

Despite partial containment by Ironspire, the majority of the city is overrun by Necrotics, and deeper levels remain untouched — and unknown.
