Arcanis Library
Structure
The Arcanis Library is more of a collective than a proper organization, formed by the joint efforts of various researchers. In most cases the longer the researcher has been a member of the Archive the more respect and access that researcher is allowed. There are unique cases in which the value of the research or contribution to the Library allowed that researcher to gain similar standing as longer residing archivists.
Culture
Many that work in the Archives are heavily invested in their research topic and the various joint topics being researched at the Arcanis Library. The single-minded pursuit of knowledge makes the Archivists a rather odd bunch which has led to friction with the Institute of Magical Learning.
Public Agenda
The Arcanis Library was once a part of the Magical Institute of Learning before the groups separated to become independent groups, the main goal of the Arcanis Library is the further research and documentation of the magical arts and all that is associated with it. From the creation and understanding of magical items to deeper research into the planes of existence various topics related to magic are studied there.
Assets
The Library has the full support of the Council of Seven and often collaborates with the Magical Institute resulting in many assets being shared. The largest asset of the Library is the archive of magical research and documents on magic and magical items. There is also a large number of magical items being researched and developed at the Arcanis Library.
